Monte Vista's Harvest Festival is a Community Hit!

On Friday, October 23rd, Monte Vista Elementary held their annual Harvest Festival. Families and friends of the local community, joined together in activity booths, participated in drawings for prizes, and enjoyed food and snacks provided by PTO and Student Council.

Fourth Grade goes to Butterfield Stage History day!

On Friday, October 16th all fourth graders attended Butterfield Stage History Day. This event provides students with living history exhibits of the westward movement and pioneer era of California. Monte Vista fourth graders learned how to throw a tomahawk, tasted dutch oven cooking and tried their hand at horseshoes.

Grizzlies School Fundraiser has started!

Monte Vista has started a school-wide fundraiser. Every Grizzly who sells at least one item will receive a collectable, superhero duck and lanyard! Their name will also go into a drawing for other amazing prizes. The more students sell, the more opportunities they have to win awesome prizes and help out our school!
