PUSD Coronavirus Notice

Porterville Unified School District is committed to being proactive in working with our city, county, and state agencies to provide important information to you during possible health situations.

The 2019 Novel Coronavirus is a virus that was recently identified in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, and is now being spread widely in other parts of mainland China. Recently, there have been a few cases identified in U.S. citizens, and those individuals are being closely monitored. This virus causes respiratory illness. At this time, the health risk to the general public in California from Novel Coronavirus remains low, but the public can take precautions to prevent the spread of common infectious diseases, such as colds and other flu virus.
